Acclimatization Day In Pheriche or Dingboche
The extra one more night in Pheriche or Dingboche is very important in acclimatization planning. This second mandatory acclimatization day of this Everest Basecamp Trek will make it happier for the trekker to spend the day exploring the Pheriche and Dingboche. These two villages are just 30 minutes different from one another. There are several interesting hiking points in these villages.
Tengboche
One attractive short hike is on the north ridge of Dingboche which is just a 400m climb to the Nangkartshang Gompa. From this Vintage Point, there are breathtaking views of East Mount Makalu which is 8463m high the fifth-highest mountain in the world. Also on this side trip, you can get to see Taboche (6542m), Cholatse ( 6443m), and the north face of Ama Dablam.
