The core itinerary for Everest Base Camp is 14 days. However, this 14 days duration can customize according to the preference of clients. Even, we can accomplish Everest Base Camp in 11days, 12days,13 days,14 days, and 15 days. In the Itinerary, we have 2 days of acclimatization day so that you will be able to go at a higher elevation and climb slowly toward base camp.  

Is Everest Base Camp dangerous or unsafe:

Definitely not. Everest Camp is visited by thousands of tourists every year and they achieve triumph safely. What people talk about Everest Base Camp Trek is Lukla airport which is considered to be the most dangerous airport in the world. Regarding altitude sickness, there is a good network even in Everest Base Camp. If something wrong occurs, you are evacuated immediately.

Ummm. Yes, it is hard but not really hard. We begin this trekking at the elevation of 1400m and the highest point is Kalapatthar which is at an elevation of 5745m. The beginners find this trek hard but the experienced one doesn’t. Those trekkers who have the stamina of trekking 5-7 hours a day in the mountain can do this trek.

Everest Base Camp is 5434m high. Everest Base Camp is not the highest point of this trekking. The highest point of this trekking is Kalapatthar which is 5545m high.

Which is the best season for the Everest Base Camp trek:

Everest Base Camp Trekking can do all around the year. However, between March, April, May, and September, October and November are the best seasons to trek to Everest Base Camp.

Where to start the Everest Base Camp trek and where to end:

Lukla airport

We begin this trek from Lukla with a short flight from Kathmandu. The scenic flight is of 35 minutes. And we end this trek at Kathmandu with a short flight again. Optionally, we can trek from Jiri salleri. Bu,t this is really challenging.

 Is Everest Base Camp Trek possible without a guide/porter:

Yeh, we can do this trekking without a guide or porter but we don’t really recommend doing it this way.  If you go on the trip without a guide and porter, that will be terribly inconvenient. And, recently, the government of Nepal is passing a new law that is not to allow individual trekkers independently without a guide and porter.
