The core Tamang Heritage Trekking Itinerary is 16 Days. This itinerary includes the Kathmandu sightseeing tour too. However, this trekking itinerary can be designed according to your schedule but not less than 7 days. We even can do Tamang Heritage Trekking within 7 days which is excluding Langtang Valley and Kyangji Gumpa. Some people want an itinerary excluding these two places and some prefer to include Gosainkunda, Langtang Valley, and Kyanjing Gumpa. Kathmandu to Tamang Heritage Trekking Distance Syaphrubesi is a 139 km distance bus takes a minimum of 8 hours and Jeep takes 5 hours. Local buses are available in the morning. Kathmandu to Trisuli (570 m) is 70 km and Trisuli to Dhunche (1965 m) is a 50 km distance. During the trekking days, we need to walk 6-10 km on average every day climbing 200-400m up. In this way, we divide this total distance into 7-14 days according to the interest of clients.

We get local buses and jeeps in the morning between 6-7.30 from Machhapokhari which is close to New Buspark. These public or local buses and the jeep are not convenient to travel but we have no option.
