The Langtang Trek is situated north of Kathmandu. The Langtang is the narrow valley stand like a sandwich in between the main Himalayan range to the north boarding Tibet and slightly lower range snow peaks to the south. Trekking to the Langtang Valley gets the opportunity to explore the forest of pine, bamboo, rhododendron, Tibetan Village, and Monastery as well as outstanding Mountain View like Langtang Lirung (7246m), Gang Chhenpo (6388m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Naya Kangri (5846m).

Gateway To Langtang Valley Trek:
Most People start the Langtang trek by driving from Kathmandu to Sypru Besi. There is the option to choose Transportation to drive to Syprubesi. You can choose Local transportation as well as a Private jeep to drive there. If you plan to drive through the Local Bus to Sypru Besi it will cost roughly 6$ to 7$. And some guests like to choose private jeep to get relief from Traffic jams and motion sickness. You can hire the jeep on a sharing basis also. And the cost of hiring a private 4 wheels jeep is 180$. In one jeep 7 people can be seated.
Permit And Regulation:
According to the government rules in Nepal. Every Tourist needs to take an Area conservation permit and Travel Information Management system (TIMS) before they start their trek in Nepal. So for the Langtang trek. The tourist must take their Langtang National Park Area conservation Permit at the Dhunche. And TIMS they must take from Kathmandu. After taking Permit in the Dunche there is a check post near to the syapru besi where every tourist must show that permit there and then only they are allowed to trek in this National Park.
Emergency Facilities:
If you are following up with some agency and some guide they have a satellite phone to communicate in an emergency situation. And they will arrange a helicopter Rescue in case of need. And for a Simple sickness condition, there is a hospital available in Dhunche and Health post available in Syapru Besi. Also suggested to take Nepali sim cards might help you for some critical situation. Even there is facilities of Satelite phone in some hotel at Ghode Tabela, Langtang Valley And at Kyanjin Gumpa.
Sleeping and Eating:
In the Langtang valley trek, we will get Tea Houses in every place. But the room is not luxurious like in Kathmandu. Their normal tea house means. It is a room with a normal bed, Blanket, Pillow, and the Common sharing bathroom is available. So there will not be guaranteed hot water for the shower. Sometimes in peak season, you need to sleep in sharing basis room also. And for eating you will get Local normal restaurant and can eat food according to the menu wise.

Itinerary and Duration of Trek:
The Langtang Trek can be done within 7 Days. And Most people like this trek because you will spend less time on transportation in comparison to Annapurna Region Trek. And also you will see outstanding Mountain View in front of you like a big posture in a very short time. Most people start this trek by driving from Kathmandu to Sypri Besi (1400m) 7 to 8 hrs drive. And Syapru Besi is the starting Point Of your Trek. From Syapru Trek To Lama Hotel (2470m)-Overnight- From Lama Hotel To Ghoretabela (2970m)-Overnight- From Ghoretabela To Langtang Valley (3300m)-Overnight- From Langtang Valley To Kynjin Gomba (3750m)-Overnight- And you will follow the same route to return from the trek to Kathmandu.
