We begin the Hindu Pilgrimage tour with a special visit to UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the holy Pashupatinath Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Pashupatinath Temple is a world-famous Hindu pilgrimage site where the god Shiva is worshipped. The temple is located on the bank of the Bagmati River. We can observe holy cremation at the bank of the holy Bagmati River while exploring Pashupatinath Temple. Kathmandu Durbar Square is another Hindu pilgrimage site in the Kathmandu valley. The big Kal Vairab and the living goddess, Kumari are the major highlights of Kathmandu Durbar Square. We also visit Budhanilkantha where we can offer a prayer to Lord Vishnu. We can see a massive statue of Lord Vishnu on the pond.
Next, we drive to Pokhara. On the way, we visit the holy Manakamana Temple. It is believed that our all wishes are fulfilled if we visit the Manakamana temple. We go to explore Barahi Temple, Bindyabashini Temple, and Gupteswor Mahadev Cave. These three religious sites are the major pilgrimage sites of beautiful Pokhara city. We still have to visit some popular pilgrimage sites of Nepal in our Nepal Hindu Pilgrimage tour.
These are Muktinath and Janakpur. The holy Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage site, Muktinath Temple is located in the lower part of the Mustang district. Lord Vishnu is worshipped here. The natural flame which never goes out and 108 water spouts are the major highlights of Muktinath Temple. We end our Nepal Pilgrimage by visiting Janakpur. We visit Ram Janaki Mandir and explore the premises. Ram Janaki Mandir ( Temple) is very special in the entire Mithilaanchal.
